Dr Markus Kubin and Dr Gerrit Günther employed the RDA’s FAIR Data Maturity Model to assess the FAIRness of data produced by a prototypical PaN instrument at the BESSY II synchrotron radiation facility and identified steps towards improving the FAIRness.
Here a little more about our presenters:
Dr Markus Kubin has a background in fundamental research at synchrotron light sources and XFELs. He has been working for the Helmholtz-Metadata Collaboration since 2020, where he investigates the status quo, gaps and needs of Helmholtz’s research infrastructures with respect to FAIR data management.
Dr Gerrit Günther worked eight years as an instrument scientist for the neutron time-of-flight spectrometer NEAT at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin before joining the Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration in 2020 where he is working in software and process development.
