ExPaNDS Librarian Symposium – 30th September 2021

Our Librarian Symposium was aimed at librarians and data managers who work with and support PaN science facilities. In particular, the symposium focused on the interface between publications and data. How can we bring these together better for the benefit of all? Where are the gaps? What do we need to bridge them?

The FAIR Workshops – 1st and 2nd October 2020

Workshops providing an overview of FAIR – data which are findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable. We consider key questions related to the data facilities produce: What is FAIR? What’s the difference between FAIR and Open? What are the benefits of FAIR for the photon and neutron community? How do I start to make data FAIR? Examples from a range of facilities connect the concept of FAIR to practice, highlighting the vital role facilities play in supporting FAIR for photon and neutron research.
